USE UP YOUR OLD HALLOWEEN PUMPKINS
So you've spent all that time and effort designing and carving your pumpkin, then you didn't even get a single Trick or Treater to really appreciate all your hard work. Well don't be too disheartened, We've come up with a couple of ways to re-use your wonderful pumpkin creation.....
Fill with soil, pop a bulb of your choice in the centre or two if its an extra large pumpkin, then dig into the ground. As it decomposes, it'll fertilise your plant.
Basically, a potato printing alternative for the children. Cut into different pieces and shapes then add paint.
Cut extra holes into your pumpkin and coat the inside with peanut butter or coconut oil, whilst its still wet add bird seeds which will stick to the sides as well as fall into the base. To make it extra fancy we made a little hole on both sides of our pumpkin and threaded string through so we could hang it off a tree branch.
Depending on how appetising your pumpkin still looks, since you've done all the hard work of carving it out, you could always chop up into pieces, sprinkle with sea salt, course black pepper and oil olive and roast for 20-30 minutes.
