What is included in each Halloween At The Barn ticket?

Every Halloween At The Barn ticket includes admission to the event, access to our five-acre pumpkin field and indoor pumpkin barn, opportunities to see and feed our farm animals, Halloween displays and photo opportunities, plus access to our street-food and bar area.

Additional activities, including Eco-Skating and axe-throwing, are included only with the relevant ticket or can be purchased separately, subject to availability. Please check the inclusions shown beneath each ticket option carefully before booking.

 

General admission is £5 per person. Eco-Skating booked in advance costs an additional £5 per person through the “General Admission & Eco-Skating” ticket. Alternatively, Eco-Skating can be purchased for £6.50 per person on the day, subject to availability. Skate aids cost £2.50. Our general-admission Family Bundle for two adults and two children costs £19. Babies in arms under 12 months are admitted free of charge.

The following activities can only be purchased on the day: adults’ axe-throwing costs £4 for nine throws and is available only to visitors aged 18 or over; ID will be required. Children’s axe-throwing costs £3 for three minutes for up to three children.

​

Pumpkins are not included with standard admission and are purchased separately according to size and variety.

 

What is Eco-Skating?

Eco-Skating is our synthetic skating rink, which uses the latest technology to look and feel much like ice without using water or energy and with zero CO₂ emissions. Its unique surface is self-lubricating, providing fantastic glidability and a softer surface should you fall over.

 

How much do pumpkins cost?

Pumpkin prices start from approximately £3 and vary according to their size and variety.

Are babies and toddlers free?

Babies in arms aged under 12 months can attend Halloween At The Barn free of charge. All children aged 12 months and over require a valid admission ticket.

​

Guests under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a guest aged 18 or over at all times.

​

What time should we arrive, and what happens if we are late?

Please arrive at the time shown on your ticket. Arrival times run every 15 minutes between 10am and 4pm on each event date. Your chosen time is your arrival window, rather than the time by which you must finish your visit.

​

We recommend arriving no more than 10 minutes before your booked time. If you arrive late, we will do our best to admit you, but entry cannot be guaranteed.

​

Is food and drink available?

Yes. Our Halloween street-food and bar area will be open throughout the event, serving a selection of freshly prepared food, hot and cold drinks, seasonal treats and alcoholic drinks for adults.

​

The planned menu includes breakfast baps, loaded chips, smashed burgers, wraps, children’s options, hot chocolate and drinks from our licensed bar.

​

Vegetarian and other dietary options will be available, although we recommend contacting us before your visit if you have a serious allergy or specific dietary requirement.

​

Food and drink are purchased separately from your event ticket, and no table booking is required for the event’s street-food area. Food or drink purchased offsite may not be consumed on the premises.

Do I need to book Halloween At The Barn in advance?

Advance booking is strongly recommended. Each arrival time has limited capacity, and popular weekend and October half-term sessions may sell out.

​

If tickets remain available, a limited number may be sold on arrival, but we cannot guarantee entry without an advance booking. Some activities and upgraded ticket experiences may be available only to customers who have booked them in advance.

​

Booking online is the best way to secure your preferred date, arrival time and ticket package.

Is Halloween At The Barn suitable for young children?

Yes. Halloween At The Barn is a family-focused daytime event designed for children and adults to enjoy together. Most of the experience is autumnal, playful and mildly spooky rather than frightening.

​

Families with younger or more sensitive children can enjoy pumpkin picking, the indoor pumpkin barn, farm animals, seasonal displays and food areas.

​

Parents and carers know their children best, so please review the description of each activity before choosing your tickets.

 

What are the age restrictions for Eco-Skating and axe-throwing?

Eco-Skating is suitable for visitors aged three and above. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult, and younger or less-confident skaters can hire a skate aid, subject to availability.

Our children’s axe-throwing activity uses age-appropriate equipment and takes place in a dedicated, supervised area. Adult axe-throwing takes place in a secured area and is available only to visitors aged 18 or over.

​

All participants must follow the instructions given by our team. Participation may be refused if a guest’s clothing, footwear or behaviour creates a safety risk. Full prices and any additional restrictions will be displayed when booking and at the event.

​

Is Halloween At The Barn indoors or outdoors?

Halloween At The Barn includes both indoor and outdoor areas.

​

Our five-acre pumpkin field and animals are outdoors, while our Events Barn provides an extensive undercover pumpkin-picking area. Several activities, Halloween displays and our food-and-drink area are also indoors.

​

You will need to walk between different parts of the event, so please dress for the autumn weather even if you plan to choose your pumpkins indoors.

​

Is Halloween At The Barn accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs?

The main Events Barn, indoor pumpkin area, food-and-drink area, toilets and much of the central event site are accessible to wheelchairs and pushchairs. Accessible parking and toilet facilities are available.

​

However, Halloween At The Barn takes place on a working farm. The pumpkin field includes natural, grassy and potentially uneven ground, which can become muddy after rain. Access to these areas may therefore be more difficult for manual wheelchairs and lightweight pushchairs.

​

Visitors who would prefer not to enter the field can still choose from a wide selection of pumpkins inside our Events Barn. If you have specific accessibility requirements, please contact us before booking so that we can offer the most accurate advice.

 

Is parking free?

Yes. Free onsite parking is available for Halloween At The Barn visitors. Please follow the event signs and directions when you arrive.

We are conveniently located near Coventry and Solihull, approximately 10 minutes from the NEC and Birmingham Airport.

 

Are dogs welcome at Halloween At The Barn?

Yes. Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Halloween At The Barn, but they must remain on a short lead and under control throughout your visit.

​

Please keep dogs away from the farm animals and follow any signs restricting them from particular activities or food-service areas. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs.

​

Dogs should not be left unattended or in parked vehicles. Please consider whether your dog will be comfortable at a busy family event with children, farm animals and music.

​

What happens if it rains?

Halloween At The Barn normally continues in wet weather. Our large indoor barn means families can still choose from an extensive selection of pumpkins under cover, and several other parts of the experience are indoors or sheltered.

The pumpkin field may become wet, muddy or uneven after rain, so wellies or sturdy waterproof footwear are strongly recommended.

We will close or postpone the event only if severe weather or ground conditions make it unsafe. If The Barn cancels your session, ticket holders will be contacted with the available transfer or refund options. Tickets are not normally refundable solely because of ordinary wet weather.

Can I change or cancel my booking?

Halloween At The Barn tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by The Barn.

If you can no longer attend on your booked date or at your booked arrival time, please contact us as early as possible. We will try to move your booking to another available session, but changes are subject to capacity and cannot be guaranteed.

Bookings cannot be transferred after the original session has started or retrospectively because a visitor did not attend. If we cancel a session, ticket holders will be contacted directly with details of the available transfer or refund arrangements.
